The Advanced Information Systems group (IAAA) is a multidisciplinary R+D group, with a computer science profile, which is a member of the Aragón Institute for Engineering Research at the University of Zaragoza.

The group's research activity is focused on open, distributed and interoperable software technologies, mainly through web services and geospatial information systems, in areas such as Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, Location Based Services (LBS) and, with an special emphasis, Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDIs).
